I was supposed to water part of the yard today, but when I woke up and headed for the kitchen to get my coffee, I heard a truly glorious sound — rain! The past two days there has been rain in our vicinity, but it never dropped anything on us. Very annoying. But finally we are vindicated! And I didn’t even have to do the Venezuelan Rain Dance (this is a kind of inside joke that relates to a song by the Smothers Brothers).
